Following ZTE and Huawei won “337 Investigation” in US, the ITC made a summary judgment with respect to “337 Investigation” against the mobile phone input method. The judgment ruled that Shanghai Hanxiang Information Technology did not infringe three patents of US Nuance. This was China’s first winning case of “337 Investigation” in software field. According to the statistics, the losing chance of Chinese enterprises in “337 Investigation was as high as 60% in 2012, which was much higher than the global average rate.
